Ramos Industries was selected by Greystar and Pacificwest Construction to furnish and install new glass door systems at La Plaza. Our scope focused on modernizing the ground level with flexible openings that could connect the interior space to the exterior while maintaining comfort and clear sightlines.
Our team fabricated, supplied, and installed two exterior NanaWall swing and stacking door systems along with one interior Haworth Trivati glass system provided through People Space. The exterior NanaWall units create large operable openings that allow the space to transition from enclosed to open air, while the interior Trivati system provides a clean, transparent separation inside the building.
The NanaWall systems were supplied with dual glazed units for improved comfort and performance at the exterior. The interior Haworth Trivati system utilized single clear glass to keep the space bright and visually open. Insulated glass units were supplied by Glasswerks, one of our key fabrication partners.
All work was completed at the ground level. The interior space was not occupied during installation and the exterior side of the work faced a gym, which helped limit disruption to residents and staff. Our field crew performed the work during normal business hours and coordinated directly with Pacificwest Construction and People Space to match the requested systems and finishes.
The completed installation gave Greystar a clean, modern opening solution that performs well and looks consistent with the rest of the property. The client was happy with the outcome and the way the NanaWall and Haworth systems now work together to create a more flexible and functional ground level space.
